Primary school students’ safety not only affects their lives, involved withthousands of households of happiness, but also affects the construction of socialistharmonious society. There is a big gap between the rural primary school and thecity primary school, neither in hardware/software, nor in carrying out the safetyeducation. According to an authoritative survey:the1-3grade rural gradepupils,which has become a high security incidents group,because their lifeexperience and safety knowledge are relative lack, and safety awareness isrelatively weak, self-protection ability difference. Although the main responsible forstudents’ safety education teachers earnestly carry out safety education for thestudents every day, but because of teachers’ massive tasks and other reasons, thesafety education is basically to say without mincing words or banned, and theteaching effect is not ideal. Therefore, it is not only very important, but also veryurgent to according to the actual situation and cognitive characteristics of rural pupils,increasing students’ safety knowledge in their wanted way,to carry out safetyeducation,to improve the safety consciousness, prevention of rural pupils safetyaccidents and reduce accidents.Characteristics of the mini-course "short, small, fine,live", are particularly suitable for the students’ cognitive characteristics.With the wayof mini-course assisting teachers to carry out safety education,which is demonstratedits unique advantages in the aspects of growth in student safety knowledge, improvedstudents’ safety awareness.This paper mainly discusses the following aspects:Through the investigation and the teacher questionnaire interview, understand thestatus of safety education in the rural primary school of Ganzhou City, analyzes thenecessity and urgency of safety education for rural low-grade pupils.Be concise and to the point, analyzed and summarized the domestic and foreignrelevant mini-courses and students safety education research, based on the analysisof the advantages of mini course, the mini-course used in the safety education of pupils in rural areas. And expounds the theoretical foundation and the basis of ruralprimary school safety education of mini-course design.Analyzed and summarized of the mini-course development process and twotools of mini-course development, which is based on the computer and based onmobile phone,and developed six projects mini-courses of safety education.Introduced the effect of the min-course’application. The "evaluation" and"practice" in way of the theory and practice evaluating the effectiveness of theapplication feasibility of mini-course used in the safety education of pupils.According to the feedback, modified these six min courses in detailed, and constantlyoptimized the design and development process of curriculum.Summarized the results,the limitations and shortcomings of research, andprospected for further work.
