Entered since twenty-first Century, due to the rapid development of knowledgeeconomy and information age, the future society of our country to teacher talents andability put forward higher requirements. In order to adapt to this new change, teachersmust constantly improve their occupation ability and quality. At the same time, alongwith the birth of the new teaching mode and teaching method. At the beginning oftwenty-first Century, constructive learning theory has entered the classroom teaching.It emphasizes: the human knowledge is not pure objective; learner’s knowledge is nottaught by teachers, but their construction; knowledge alone is not formed, but formedin the interaction process with the outside environment; the learner is the subject oflearning, and not being on objects such as cognitive theory.In addition, along with the continuous expansion of college enrollment, reformand adjustment and the teaching plan, increase the technical difficulty of the teaching,reflected in the gymnastics course in College Physical Education Department isparticularly evident in, can be summarized as the following aspects: taking YunnanNormal University Sports Institute as an example,1classes (increase in the number oflarger; the20-30from the previous to the current50-60as a class)2classsignificantly reduced the total number;(in physical education specialty as an example,prior to each class4hours per week reduced to2-3hours per semester,3semestersbefore the number reduced to2semesters of teaching now) the quality of3technology needs to be further improved.(now mainly a queue formation of the mostbasic and most basic skills in action, the lack of technique to improve the)Historical experience proves, teaching reform must be based on the right, thesuccess of the advanced learning theory. Provides a different from the traditionalobjectivism learning theory of constructivism. Think of learning theory, the learningprocess is not the students accept knowledge passively, but actively constructknowledge process. The constructivist learning is learner centered, and it is true, solearners will have more interest and motivation, to encourage learners to criticalthinking, can more easily provide individual learning style. Therefore, the applicationof Constructivism in teaching will bring a revolution in teaching or learning.Based on the constructivism learning theory as the main line, on the basis of theeducational principle, construction design of learning and teaching principles ofgymnastics teaching, improve the teaching quality of teaching gymnastics; according to each stage the formation of gymnastics technology principle and gymnastics skills,the various stages of construction of theory and method of study utilizes themovement skill formation, arouse the enthusiasm of students more effectively, inorder to improve the learning efficiency of each stage, eventually forming the actiontechnical ability strong, and cultivating the students comprehensive ability. Based onthe "constructive learning" theory as the instruction design to the students as the mainbody, can give full play to students’ subject consciousness "constructive learning"teaching method, through the teaching experiment was carried out at Yunnan NormalUniversity College of physical education, gymnastics course, adapt to the newteaching situation and explore reasonable way for gymnastics teaching, so as toprovide reference for further deepen the reform of teaching gymnastics.
