Senior High school English, as a key subject in the college entrance examination, has attracted increasing attention. It is an important task for us to improve class teaching efficiency.In the previous research, the author found there are many problems in the current senior high school English teaching, such as, firstly, teachers’ teaching methods are obsolete, old-fashioned and out of time. Secondly, classroom teaching is lack of interaction, the teacher still control classroom teaching activity, and the students are passively receive knowledge state. Furthermore, students’ classroom learning methods are obsolete and single. in the class, students are busy with taking notes or blindly follow the teachers’ teaching pace without self exploration and the process of constructing knowledge. In addition, the teaching evaluation system is biased. The assessment of students’ learning and teachers’ teaching level are based on the students’ test mark. The teaching evaluation system can not effectively reflect students’ learning and teachers’ teaching level. Combining ten years of classroom teaching experience, the author gets to know the current situation of English teaching in senior high school through communication with colleagues. based on questionnaire survey method, literature survey method, interviewing survey method and content analysis method on current high school English class teaching, and with the guidance of constructive teaching theory, the author proposes practical reform strategy and measures,:first, to create an classroom teaching mode with the students as main body, bringing the subjective initiative of students into full play and enhancing classroom teaching efficiency. Second, to innovate the teaching methods, abandoning the traditional boring teaching methods, the specific teaching method presented in this paper are:task-driven teaching method, situational simulation teaching, network practice teaching, human-machine (computers, smart phones) interactive teaching method. These are four teaching methods with characteristics of the times, fully making use of the Internet and multimedia resources in the classroom teaching. Third, implementing stratified teaching, including students stratified, teaching material stratified, teaching aim stratified, practice stratified, teaching and learning evaluation stratified. Four, to diversify learning styles in the classroom teaching, the learning ways mentioned in this paper are:self-directed learning, cooperative learning, inquiry learning and experiential learning. Five, establish an evaluation system reflecting the students’ learning and teachers’ teaching level with the guidance of constructive teaching theory.This paper sets out the basic viewpoint of Constructive teaching theory, also mentions the use of Constructive teaching theory to reform the classroom teaching in senior high school. The second and third chapter is the core and highlights of this paper. The second chapter of the thesis presented the requirements for teachers in high school English teaching to practice the Constructive teaching theory. In Chapter Ⅲ, the thesis mainly describes the specific measures of reforming the English teaching in senior high school with the Constructive teaching theory, providing reform theory for senior high school English class teaching reform, pioneering of reforming horizon of senior high school English class teaching.
