Investigation On The Current Situation Of Consumption Of 3-6 Years Old Children In Shenyang City

The state, society and families pay more and more attention preschool education. The children’s consumption and the proportion in the stage from three to six year old in the total household consumption expenditure is rising. Parenting cost problem has aroused people’s concern. As economically developed city of Shenyang, children’s consumption level, consumption structure and consumption characteristics are the research problems for the study in this paper.This study is an applied research. This research mainly uses the methodology of questionnaire survey, and at the same time interview method is also used for data collection and sorting data. The data is collected and analyzed by using spss13.0 statistics. After data collection and analysis, we get the following conclusion:(1) Children’s consumption has the lower the percentage of family in better income family economic condition per month(2) In the Shenyang city, 3-6 year old children’s consumption level is higher, and polarization is more apparent(3) The factors of influence children’s consumption are diversity.1. Children’s monthly consumption degree has a certain relationship with parents’ in general, and parents degree higher family children’s consumption level is higher;2. The trunk household consumption is higher than that of the nuclear family kindergarten;3. Parents’ consumption idea of monthly consumption and kindergarten has direct influence to the consumption habits;4. Children’s family circle of friends for young children’s consumer behavior and consumption idea has the certain influence;5. Young children’s personal characteristics and mental age have some influence on consumption, influence degree related to children’s character and the parents’ upbringing.6. Only the family consumption is slightly higher than the average month only part of the family.(4) In Shenyang city 3-6 young children the problems exist in the process of consumption1. Parenting cost is higher, and children and high consumption phenomenon is relatively common on parents pressure. Poor families children’s monthly consumption occupies large proportion of total household income;2. Some parents’ consumption idea is in a wrong way;3. Supporting fee is in a high proportion of children’s monthly consumption;4. Public opinion and the media have resulted in some incorrect parenting. Others are influenced by parental upbringing, films and advertising, which is also to promote some extent for the children’s high consumption;5. Children’s lack of financial education.
