China had been hold the Mega Sports Events more than ten times in the past decade. There are all kinds of sports including international integrated events, such as Beijing Olympic Games, and national integrated events, such as National Games in different cities. All of this events indicate that Chinese comprehensive power has been growing up. On the other hand, holding Mega Sports Events can also raise the profile of China. However, its extraction is extremely costly to hold a sports event. So it is still a pending issue in academic world. It is uncertain whether hosting Mega Sports Events can bring positive influence on economy. That is to say, the economic impact arising from Mega Sports Events is not for sure. We take 11 events such as Beijng Olympic Games in 2008 as objects of study. And on this basis we compare difference of economic variables, such as GDP, before and after the games. At the same time, we build a time series model to help us with the process of analysis. We can conclude from SAS that there is no long-term implication on regional economy when they host Mega Sports Event. However, there should be a low-melt blip after each event.
