With the growing number of Chinese International students, they have become a more and more representative group of Chinese people in foreign countries. Also, the hig-pace development of social media and its frequently use has made it more and more important for the accuturation process of international students.On one hand, social media does influence the acculturation process in many ways; on the other hand, social media itself is a platform that reflects the acculturation process.In this research,216 Chinese international students are selected do do a survey about social media and their acculturation process.Most international students believed social media has played an opsmistic role in their acculturation process, and the data from the survey also shows that students choosing different strategies have different understanding of social media.
