Chinese culture has a long history and is profound. As the carrier bearing nationalculture and reflect the cultural atmosphere, Chinese textbooks play important roles inthe inheritance of human civilization and the development of social progress. Withextensive scope, Chinese textbooks content ranges from the ancient myths andlegends,“The Book of Songs” and "Classics" to the recent “The enlightened ChineseTextbooks” and so on。To standardize the construction of Chinese textbooks after thefounding of the PRC, unified Chinese textbooks establishment and approvalcommittee was set up, which further standardized the construction of Chinesetextbooks. Cultures proceeds towards the diversified directions with the advance ofglobalization, which leads the current language course standard advocates the“multi-textbooks on one guideline” and making Chinese textbooks to develop towardcolorful and diversified directions. There are various kinds of Chinese textbooksacross China, even different versions are used alternatively in the same region. Theapplication of different textbooks will surely benefit the promotion cultural diversity,but it will carry the drawback of cultural diversity at the same time. In view of theabove situation, to help teachers and students in various areas use the Chinesetextbooks more normatively and provide feedback and improvement suggestions tothe Chinese textbooks establishment committee, the author selected the compulsorypart of “The ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbook-Chinese”(Beijing Normal University Press,2010edition) as the main study object, and take thecompulsory part of “The ordinary high school curriculum standard experimenttextbook-Chinese”(People Education Press,2007edition) as research and reference,and comprehensively and meticulously analyzed and studied the text-selection systemand help-reading system of the “The ordinary high school curriculum standardexperiment textbook-Chinese”(Beijing Normal University Press,2010edition).The introduction includes the content of research object, research review, researchmethods and definition of basic concepts. Part one is the interpretation of high school Chinese textbook of Beijing normaluniversity version. Review and evaluation of construction of middle school Chinesetext book since our country is found was carried on, comb and review of the writingand research development situation of Chinese text book was made, interpretation ofthe theoretical foundation of taking the “textbooks written advice” from “High schoolChinese new curriculum standard” as the material of textbook analysis was analyzed,and analysis of characteristics of learning middle school Chinese was made. And thensystematic analysis of basic structure, writing concept and the characteristics ofmiddle school Chinese text book of Beijing normal university version and summaryand research of features of topicality in reading and appreciation part andpracticalness in expression and communication was made.Part two mainly analyzes and studies the text-selection system of books of Beijingnormal university version, highlights its features of cultural diversity, beauty oflanguage, and combination of classical and era, and focus on the utilization ofconcept of “comparative reading” and the features of attaching great importance toclassic recitation and its open international view. And detailed analysis and researchof organization mode, style structure, diversification and population of theme ofsecond canonization of text selection was made.Part three mainly analyzes the help-reading system of Chinese text book of Beijingnormal university version with the purpose of expressing designing features of thehumanity, liberalization, keep attention on nature, respecting the freedom of creative,and aspiration for life. Concise and vivid page setup, human pre-class clues, graphicimages, human annotation and page number, enclosures after class, and thoughtsabout help-reading system are the main content in this part.Part four mainly describes enlightenment of the preparation and use of thetextbooks, such as the analysis of textbook reformation, the analysis and summary ofpoints to be improved in the middle school Chinese textbook(Beijing NormalUniversity Press,2010edition), and recommendations about the use of middle schoolChinese textbooks.
