River depletion, air pollution, deforestation, species extinction... The phenomenon of ecological damage and environmental degradation are increasing. Once upon a time, human beings declared to conquer Earth, but now Earth is having his devastating revenge with human being. Solving the environmental problems is imminent. School is a main place where the students are living and studying, increasing their knowledge and molding their temperaments, therefore, school education must not lack of environmental education. Among of all, Chinese education plays an extremely important role in environmental education.Chinese is a subject that unites instrumentality and humanity, with the promulgation of<The Chinese Course Criterion of Full-time Compulsory Education> in 2011, the humanity of Chinese is fully represented. The humanity of the Chinese provides the teachers the advantages of propagating environmental education while teaching. The textbooks are the main contents of teaching, and students comprehend the world, mould their temperaments by learning the textbooks. There hide a great deal of contents about the natural ecological environment in the textbooks, which are often overlooked when teachers doing the teaching things.This paper has a statistical analysis of textual content from a macro-level perspective, then has done interpretation of selected passages from a micro-level perspective, and finally has made a suggestion of how to compiling the teaching materials, and how to do environmental education by using the textbooks. This paper can be divided into four parts.Part one attempts to expound of the thinking, characteristics and writing idea of the textbooks. Regarding "interest in the first position, learning to learn, whole advancement, Cultural accumulation " as guiding ideology, the textbooks pay attention to cultivate the students’interest in learning. Selection has a variety of forms, beauty of language and epochal character, it pays close attention to man and nature, Contains a large number of environment content.Pare two analyzed textbooks’content of environmental education from a macro-level perspective. According to different theme, Different genres of articles has been divided in to five parts, including "botany, animal, natural scenery, man and nature, environment protection". Classical poetry is one of the important genre about environment, The author separately do the statistics on it, The contents of environmental education in Poetry can be classified into two parts.Part three has done interpretation of selected passages from a micro-level perspective, the author classified typical elements of the textbooks into three classes, which includes "Cherish life, revere nature, Protect the ecological environment ". this paper describes it with some examples.By the statistical analysis and text interpretation, the last of this paper Provides some advice about how to Promote the development of primary school Chinese environment education from the aspects of teaching materials and teachers.
