| College of Physical Education is an important part of higher education that it must adapt to the needs of social development. Karate is a set of fitness,self-cultivation, Art in one of sport. Karate project is set in a college physical education to adapt to new circumstances innovative education to meet develop the comprehensive development of manpower needs, the needs of sports individualized teaching, sports community, develop lifelong physical awareness of the need. In this paper, the literature study, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and other research methods, opened karate option class to Guangzhou City College as a research object, meaning of karate elective course in colleges and universities opened in the status of Colleges and Universities described; the status Guangzhou City Universities to karate movement; discussed the role of colleges and universities to open a karate elective course; Guangzhou General Universities to karate elective course analyzes the feasibility and raised in Guangzhou City college karate elective course in the implementation of countermeasures, and provide a reference for karate elective course in the university. |
