As the main way of moral education in primary and secondary school, people pay more and more attention to the development of society curriculum. To continuously improve the revision of China’s primary school morality and society curriculum standards, in based on the domestic basis, also need to broaden their horizons, to understand the reform and development of the international social science curriculum standard.This paper selects Chinese "compulsory education of moral and social curriculum standard (2011)" which promulgated by the people’s Republic of China Ministry of education in 2011 (hereinafter referred to as the "standard") and South Korea "social science curriculum standard (2007)" as the research object. Through comparative analysis the higher grades of the social curriculum standard in primary school in two countries, deepen for the understanding the curriculum goal, curriculum content and curriculum implementation between China and South Korea in the primary school. Understanding the differences of social classes, the two countries complement each other, so as to promote the moral and social curriculum reform and development of China.China and South Korea’s social curriculum standard demonstrate similarities and differences in many respects. The development of social programs in China is under the background of curriculum reform of basic education, while South Korea had carry out seven times curriculum reform and combined with national conditions, to promote the evolution of social course. The comparison of course standard, mainly according to the Chinese lesson underlying theme framework, including curriculum goal, curriculum content, curriculum implementation. Firstly, introduced the development course of social studies curriculum in the primary school between China and South Korea and know about the background of setting up primary school social studies curriculum standard of China and South Korea. Secondly, do the macro comparison on social curriculum standard of China and South Korea. Analysis of the frame structure of the south Korean society curriculum standard to know the meaning of reference. On the part of course objective, based on expounding on China and South Korea of curriculum objectives, the comparison found China and South Korea exist similarity in the curriculum objective. The two country are emphasize the development of students’emotion and sociality, give attention to the quality as a qualified citizen. Thirdly, on the part of course content, the system structure from the course content and the specific content of the two aspects of the course content carries on the comparative analysis, China social curriculum introduct and explain from six themes, While South Korea divided curriculum content from different grade. Because the partition according to the different basis, the society course content also presents different characteristics and provide a reference for our country to adjust course content. Finally, on the suggestion of curriculum implementation part, select the implement suggestions of the Chinese curriculum standard and advices on the teaching and evaluation with South Korea to clarify, in order to looking for the place of teaching and evaluation of the social studies curriculum in our country where need to be further perfect.
