For children,effective praise can improve their self-efficacy,help them be more confident,more independent and positive. With the popularity of appreciated education and happy education,the praise behavior is widely used in the kindergarten, preschool teachers should think and reflect on themselves that how to promote the children’s development effectively by the praise behavior.In this paper, the author integrated use literature method,observation method and interview method to explore the preschool teachers’ praise behavior.The thesis bases on the character of teachers’ praise behavior,and then compares the difference between Chinese and English teachers’praise behavior,and is aimed at analyzing the problems existed in the Chinese teachers’ praise behavior, and then raises relevant suggestions.The first part states from the praise time,praise way,praise circumstance,praise purpose,praise orientation,praise emotional character etc.The second part compares the Chinese and English teacher’s praise behavior from several aspects:the praise time,praise way and nature,praise circumstance,praise purpose and praise emotional character,praise orientation,praise object.The third part analyzes the problem existed in the praise behavior,including single praise way,general praise,unbalanced praise orientation,the process praise behavior is few etc.The fourth part is relevant suggestions,including enriching praise way,making the praise fair,targeted praise etc.
