Teachers’ professional knowledge is an important index to measure the level of teachers’ professional knowledge development, pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) is an important part of teachers’professional knowledge. Therefore, the development of new teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge is an important aspect of its professional development.Firstly, this study discusses the characteristics of the new teachers’ pedagogical cont knowledge development in theory, and analyzes the elements of the new teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge development, namely the preparation of elements in knowledge, the preparation of conditions in practice, the development of reflection ability, and discusses the process of the new teachers’ pedagogical cont knowledge development from the preparing before the implementation of teaching task, the performance of implementing the task of teaching, reflections after the implementation of the teaching task.Secondly, according to the basic theoretical framework of the new teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge development, this study uses a questionnaire survey methods and case studies to investigate the preparation of new teachers’pedagogical content knowledge development. Then the research is focused on the development of pedagogical content knowledge when new teachers’implement each specific task of teaching, from the three links to examine the status of its pedagogical content knowledge development, namely before the implementation of the teaching task, implementing the task, after the implementation of the teaching task.The survey found that the new teachers are lack of preparation which is helpful for new teachers’pedagogical content knowledge development. The new teachers aren’t good at finding the practical problems in application of teaching method when implement the task of classroom teaching, and they aren’t good at discovering and solving practical problems in classroom teaching through student interaction the interaction between teachers and students. The new teachers are lack of the tact of teaching behavior which reflects the development of pedagogical content knowledge. After the implementation of the teaching task, new teachers have some reflective consciousness, but they are lack of the ability of reflection which contributes to the new teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge development.Finally, the article discusses the relevant problems of teaching knowledge development of new teachers from the knowledge preparation of new teachers, teacher’s teaching reflection, the guidance from the expert teachers and puts forward suggestions for improvement.
