At present, educators of all countries across the world has closely focused on studies on the teachers'professional development and teacher education, therefore, the relevant subjects has become the hotspot issues among theoretical experts, scholars and researchers as well as on-job teachers. Hence, teachers' professional development has obviously emerged as the key rhythm in teacher education reform at home and abroad. The new round of elementary educational reform that has continuously pushed ahead has brought 16 million teachers in China with generous opportunities in an all-round manner. As the decisive element in the curriculum and teaching reform, teachers' expertise is not only the foundation of classroom teaching and the focus of teacher knowing study, but also the hallmark of formation and development of teachers'professional growth.Just consider these questions:What's the meaning of teachers'pedagogical knowledge(PCK) in the field of Politics teaching. How's it about? How many areas does it evolve? What's their relation? How does it emerge and develop? In this thesis, you can find all the answers to these questions.This study mainly focuses on the ways of the development of PCK that Politics teachers have from the middle and senior high schools with the PCK as its starting point. In Chapter Two, through systematic review of the related research literatures by me published over past two decades, this is the first time that a paper is to explore how senior high school teachers of Politics acquire and develop their PCK. The third part is to explain why some approaches to the development of PCK of teachers of Politics are ineffective. And in the final part, I'll put forward some suggestions for the development of PCK of Politics teachers, with accordance with the above research results, aiming at helping undergraduate students, postgraduates whose major are Ideological and Political Education as well as sophisticated Politics teachers to grow in a professional manner, making a shift from general teachers to expert teachers as soon as possible.
