College students are the backbone of the reserve force for building socialism with Chinesecharacteristics, and the newborn main force of the construction of ecological civilization in ourcountry. But there have been a lot of discord events that related to environmental pollution andecological damage occurred in our real life, should often bear the main responsibility to ourcollege students who were teached and trained in Universities. Therefore, to improve andstrengthen the current college students ecological ethics education, is not only the need of facingthe deteriorating ecological crisis situation and the low ecological ethics quality of collegestudents,but also to better implement the spirit of18th National Congress of the CommunistParty of China that with respect to the requirements of ecological civilization construction.This paper mainly using three-part contents to discusses how to improve the currentsituation of college students ecological ethics education. The first part discusses two aspects: thebasic objectives and the main contents of ecological ethics education. Objective is the startingpoint and destination of the ecological ethics education. So, for the critical issue of how to set upthe basic objectives, this paper mainly refers to the related theory of cultivation objectives offostering international environmental education, the "Lucas mode" and the related outcomes ofInternational Conference on the Environment, which determined the six basic goals wereawakening, knowledge, attitudes, skills, evaluation capabilities and participate in environmentaleducation, and combined with China’s actual, proposed five basic objectives that we shouldreach to carry out the ecological ethics education in university: the first one is to strengthen theecological ethics awareness of college students, the second is to improve the ecological ethicscognition of college students; the third is to cultivate the ecological ethics emotion of collegestudents, the fourth is to make college students to master the skills of how to solve ecologicalproblems, the fifth is to make college students to develop good habits of participating ecologicalcivilization. How to configure the content of ecological ethics education is the focus of thisarticle, which focuses on exploring how to achieve fundamental objectives of ecological ethicseducation and to achieve the core values of ecological ethics education that should be relyingon its main content settings, according to the main aspects that the current college Students ecological ethics Quality missing and the18th National Congress of the Communist Party ofChina made the latest strategic policy request on the construction of ecological civilization,established the main contents of four different aspects of ecological ethics education: the firstone is the correct view of nature education, the second is the scientific concept of developmenteducation, the third is the simple concept of green living education, the fourth is the ecologicallaw education and policy education. The second part reviews the history of the development ofecological ethics education in our country, which has gone through three main stages thatinvolved fostering environmental awareness, fostering awareness of sustainable developmentand fostering awareness of ecological civilization, introduced the stage of fostering awareness ofecological civilization was gradually nurtured and developed from the stage of fosteringenvironmental awareness and fostering awareness of ecological civilization, and summarizessome achievements of college students ecological ethics education that our country made sinceenvironmental education has been carried out.Then on the basis of the combination of the firstpart that the college students ecological ethics education should achieve the basic objectives andrely on the main content settings, focus from five areas that involves curriculum research,teaching staff, teaching methods, evaluation methods and both social and family together systemto analyze the causes of ecological ethics education problems of college students at this stage andits produce, that analyze the current situation of College Students ecological ethics education.The third part is the main part of this paper, reflects the purpose of writing this paper, proposedfive aspects corresponding countermeasures which targeted for the fourth part of the main issuesexist in college students ecological ethics education, and proposed specific implementationmethods and measures under each direction: First, we should accelerate the reform of curriculumsystem and author system textbook as soon as possible; The Second is to improve teachertraining and to create a diversified faculty; Third, we should pay more attention to the practice ofeducation and focus on developing the college students’ ability to take part in environmentalpractices; Fourth, we should use a variety of evaluation methods that pursue for full and fair;Fifth, social and family education should act in concert with school education in order to becomescale and systems.
