| As the most influential female athletes in sports world’s, Li Na, after winning the 2011 French Open, again boarded the Grand Slam winner’s podium. She harvested two runner-up and a champion in recent years, and undoubtedly show the influence and voice in the world of women’s tennis at the Australian Open. Li Na is a game scorer and distinctive Chinese athletes while the domestic media describe her with opposite image of the traditional media in the sports star image. She is personalized, straightforward, fiery, outspoken with “rebellious" image. And as the iconic figure of Chinese sports, she also shows herself in the flash of the media with gorgeous brilliant performances. Thus, in today’s rapid developing social and cultural country, it is very valuable to research the constructing of such atypical sports star media image which is full of a great personality characteristics and significance.This paper takes the way of logic analysis, text analysis, content analysis, and definite what is sports star.
