The "student centered" and "all for student’s development" is an important concept of curriculum reform of basic education. The development of students’ development including knowledge ability, development of emotion, attitude and values, and improve the development of student’s personality is also included. In the promotion of students development concept under the action, with the practice of curriculum reform of basic education, ordinary high school began to expand their own education and development space. It is based on excellent teachers, to create the characteristics of the school for the purpose of recruiting various artistic talent of the seedling, so as to form which has the feature of both general education and art education in the common development of the ordinary high school. But art students cultural literacy uneven, basic cultural courses is very weak, and the formation of neglecting cultural course learning mental set, especially despised the thought political lesson learning, deny the thought political lesson learning value. The state of development of this imbalance and to the thought political lesson to learn the value of the mistake, not only affects the art students to grasp and use of Ideological and political course basic viewpoint and the basic principle, but also restricts the development of future students of art space. Therefore, improve students’ understanding of the thought political lesson learning value, psychological characteristics and thinking characteristics analysis of art students in the learning process, inquiry teaching method suitable for students of art characteristics, improve students’ Ideological and political course learning effectiveness has become an important topic of Ideological and political lesson teacher. This is also the author of the problem to be solved.This article will be described from four parts:In the first part, the ordinary high school art class students’ present situation; characteristics of the second part, the ordinary high school art class student; the third part, the thought political lesson teaching and the causes of the problems; the fourth part, according to the ordinary high school art class student ideological and political education of proposed strategies to solve the problem.
