New Zealand is one of the world education system is complete and the higher quality of education,which published national mathematics curriculum standard in 1992,through the curriculum reform,and announced the new mathematics curriculum standard in 2009,the implementation so far.The mathematics education of New Zealand has its success,and its current mathematics curriculum standard has its own unique,innovative and worthy of a place to learn from whether in the form,or arrangement of content and so on.In international comparative study of curriculum standard in our country,the mathematics curriculum standard research of United States,Japan,Britain,Canada and other countries introduce more,the introduction of the New Zealand mathematics curriculum standard is relatively small."Stones from other hills may serve to polish jade",we should study and draw lessons from various countries,which mathematics curriculum standard are relatively mature and complete, "absorbing the essence,discard the dross",so as to provide a new global vision for the further improvement and development of the Chinese curriculum standard.Therefore,the comparative study of the current primary school mathematics curriculum standard between China and New Zealand has great significance.This study of December 2011 published the latest mathematics curriculum standard "compulsory mathematics curriculum standard(2011 edition)"in our country and New Zealand promulgated" The New Zealand Curriculum Mathematics Standards for years 1-8 "in 2009 as the research object,using literature research method, text analysis and comparative research to elaborate the significance of the Primary Mathematics Curriculum Standard comparative studies between two countries, research status,mathematics curriculum standards development background and processes,as well as comparative analysis of the two primary mathematics curriculum standards’ framework, objectives,basic concept, implementation suggestions and other aspects.Comparative analysis is mainly focused on the basic concept,goals and content of the two countries curriculum standards.Where the target part from two dimensions,"specific objectives"and"the general objective",content standard focused on four aspects,namely"Number and Algebra","geometry","Statistics and Probability","comprehensive and practical".On the basis of further comparison, analyze and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the two countries curriculum standard and the form factors,putting forward several suggestions and reference to further improve and perfect our country’s primary school mathematics curriculum standard:Curriculum objectives and content of the curriculum standard can be set up according to the different levels;Implementation suggestions and examples in the curriculum standard can be integrated with curriculum content;curriculum standards should pay attention to the model construction in the course content;The development of curriculum standard should strengthen the concept infiltration of parents and community participation;The evaluation recommendations of curriculum standard should focus on comprehensive and effective.Through learning mathematics curriculum standard of New Zealand in order to further promote the further development of mathematics curriculum reform of our country.
