The games for Chinese Classes, based on regarding Chinese as the second language, are the games made to encourage the students’activeness in reviewing and practicing the learned Chinese knowledge according to the teaching targets and contents. It is a very important assisting tool for Chinese teaching. There are many researches conducted about the games in Chinese classes, and big achievements have also been made in large quantities. However, the researches about the games setting in Thailand’s high and middle schools are expected to be further completed.The primary problems that should be solved are the relations between class games and students’ study interests together with their motivations; the reasons to set class games; the rules of the class games and its contents; and the methods to control the game time and its availability. Only by settling these problems, can the class games be scientific, rational and available. Otherwise, class games would be in vain. The author of this thesis conducted a questionnaire and researched the common classes at the same time by connecting the teaching experiences in Thailand. The result shows that the games in Chinese classes are one of the key sectors to develop the students’ study interests, motivate the students effectively and enhance the active class atmosphere meanwhile increase their scores. After observing the class situation, conducting lots of questionnaires and using the class games, the author made a deep exploration and research about the rule, step, monitor and feedback of the Chinese class games in Thailand according to the collected data. Meanwhile it is expected to put forward more effective and feasible suggestions about the Chinese class games for high and middle schools so as to provide some references for the teachers as long as the author could do.
