| "Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard (2011 Edition)" in primary school mathematics curriculum has made great changes. The local press have been published and revised primary school mathematics textbooks in order to cope with the new curriculum reform. The purpose of this study is to investigate the geometric thinking of the new primary school mathematics textbooks in the field of "Graph and Geometry".In this study, take the revised PEP’s and the revised JEP’s published textbooks for example, based on "compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards (2011 Edition)" and Van Hiele theory,the author construct the category analysis table to compare and analyse the geometric thinking of the two edition of the textbooks of "Graph and Geometry" content and put forward the corresponding suggestions on the improvement of textbooks and teachers’teaching.Through the study found that:1. The logical order and organization method of the two versions of textbooks in "Graph and Geometry" content is the same. Although knowledge is basically the same, the two edition of the textbooks differ in the unit arrangement and differ in the unit style. The order in the individual points of knowledge also have their own characteristics.2. The two edition of the textbooks cover all the three level of Van Hiele theory and the level 1 accounted for the largest portion. The textbooks of PEP’s pay more attention to the level of 2 than the textbooks of JEP’s. The textbooks of JEP’s pay more attention to the level of 0.3. The two versions of textbooks "Graph and Geometry" content in each grade distribution has different characteristics. The two versions of textbooks "Graph and Geometry" also have different characteristics in the transition level of geometric thinking on.Finally, combined with the conclusion of the study, the author put forward suggestions to our primary school mathematics textbooks’writing in the field of "Graph and Geometry" and teachers’ teaching. |
