| The professional development of teachers become a hot topic, at the same time, it has received extensive attention of scholars at home and abroad. In the process of developing teachers’professional ability in the subject teaching, Pedagogical Content Knowledge (referred to as PCK) has become the focus of research; it is a specific type of knowledge to the teachers’ professional knowledge. In view of mathematics teachers, Mathematics Pedagogical Content Knowledge,(referred to as MPCK) regarded as a unique teaching knowledge, plays an important role in mathematics teaching. At the same time, conic curve is a special part of the teaching content for teachers, which not only theoretical knowledge of teachers has higher requirements, but also a test of the teachers in other aspects of teaching knowledge and ability. For students, this part has certain difficulty to study. It is not only need a wealth of theoretical knowledge, but also need a certain degree of computing power. Combined the MPCK theory and the conic, and then teach the MPCK theory, under conic is necessary to explore.The paper will explore in three aspects, the definition, geometric properties of cone curve, the relationship of a straight line and a conic section. The definition of teaching is mainly to reveal the essential characteristics of conic curve, and the geometric properties of the inquiry teaching mainly guide students to the angle of geometric properties of equation, then they can use mathematical combination of thoughts to understand the cone curve. The position relationship between the straight line and a conic section is the key part of this paper. I will explore from the five most typical problems of midpoint chord length formula of common problems, the most basic and line and conic relationship of inquiry. The purpose is to let the teachers teaching from the perspective of MPCK so as to improve the teaching ability, and make the students master the two basic types of flexible processing methods calculating method of midpoint chord, problems and five typical problem analysis, thinking law and common treatment methods. Finally, the paper carry on thinking and outlook of conic teaching, put forward some ideas in conic teaching from the perspective of MPCK.The focus of this paper is to explore the conic curve in MPCK theory from the perspective of teaching, through the application of MPCK theory in conic curve of every part of the content, exploring new teaching theory and the teaching way, then become more conducive to teaching and learning, which provides certain reference for teaching of high school conic curve. |
