The review for examination is very important in the chemical education of junior middle school. In the process of junior high school chemistry review using the concept map, can let the relationship between the knowledge and knowledge in the form of a concept map intuitively, create knowledge context, thus improve the quality and efficiency of review. At the same time provides a way for teachers to comprehensive evaluating a student in an all-round way, and promotes the students’ self assessment. This paper analyzed and probed the application of concept map in grade chemistry review.This article discusses the question from four parts:The first part:introduction. The present situation of junior high school chemistry review combining with the new requirements of the new curriculum of chemistry teaching and the application status of concept map have elaborated in this paper, discussed this paper’s topic and significance, and illustrates the main content of this research.The second part:literature review. Defined the related concepts involve in this research through literature review, like the review, concept map, and arranged a part of the theoretical basis about the concept map teaching.The third part:the main body part. This research has carried on the investigation and analysis of survey data through two questionnaires, one is about students’review status in chemistry in the junior middle school, another is about the present situation that students using concept map in the review. According to the different types of chemistry review classes:concept review and thematic review class. The research separately using the teaching design of concept map on the whole teaching process, and discussing about the problem still remain in the process.The fourth part:conclusion and suggestion. Based on concept maps in teaching design research in chemistry review class in junior middle school, that concept mapping is an effective tool for teaching and learning, and application of concept maps in junior middle school chemistry review should pay attention to make recommendations on the matter.
