High school physics course as one of the important courses of high school science education. Learning including the concept, principle and law of physics course and learning skills, and physical concept leads each physical principle and law, the core concept is the most important thing of the physical concept. Concept of physics is the basis and foundation of classroom teaching, there are so many physics concept, we can extract the core concepts that can lead other concepts, this can promote the concept of teaching and students’ learning. When America’s national research council issued a new "k-12 science education framework:practice, interdisciplinary concept and core concept", The the framework consider that science should teach students enough concept, rather than piecemeal, fragmented knowledge, Then the core concepts of the research become an important field of international science education research, As an important physics teaching in science education, also started the research of the core concepts. So the investigation of the core concepts of the high school physics and the learning core concept of high school students, then put forward the core concepts of the teaching strategy for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning meaningful.This research mainly includes the following four research content:Firstly, our country high school physics mechanics knowledge as the carrier, through carding Shanghai version of high school physics teaching material, compared to the high school physics curriculum standard were analyzed, and screen out the important knowledge of the mechanical part.Secondly, based on the author selected the mechanics of important knowledge points into the teacher questionnaire, through the board of education issued a questionnaire, that physics teachers according to their own understanding of the importance of the knowledge choose the core concept, then survey for the core concept of high school physics mechanics.Thirdly, in order to understand the student grasp the situation of the concept of mechanics and put forward Suggestions for improvement of the teaching, choose FCI evaluation to high school students physical mechanics concepts, through statistical analysis of the students score distribution and the problem of accuracy, understand the student problems in concept mechanics learning.Fourthly, according to the students master the situation of the concept of mechanics and in teachers’ questionnaire investigation of the problem put forward the core concepts of the teaching strategy, core concept of high school physics teaching have guiding significance.The conclusion of this study follows:Firstly, there are six of the core concepts of the high school mechanics:Newton’s second law, Newton’s third law, force, synthesis and decomposition of the movement, the law of conservation of mechanical energy, acceleration.Secondly, mechanics concept acquisition by investigating students found that students can remember most of the concept of mechanics, but the understanding of the concepts is superficial, and lacking the deep understanding of core concepts.Thirdly, according to the students grasp of the concept of mechanics situation,put forward the teaching strategy of mechanical core concepts, the author put forward the teaching strategy is mainly reflected in four aspects, set up the emphasis on the core concept of teaching ideas, enhance the consciousness of concept teaching; teaching organization of core concept of high school physics, can improve the core concept of teaching efficiency; From the life situation is introduced into teaching, to deepen the understanding of the core concepts; Transformation of the mode of traditional teaching evaluation, and promote the master of the core knowledge.
