Individual education has become a common trend of contemporary education reform and the essence of modern education, focusing on subjectivity, difference and development of individual.New curriculum reform in our country also put forward “pay attention to individual difference, meet the demand of every student” “set up evaluation system to promote the development of every student. ”evaluation plays an important guiding role in education activity, it not only affect individual education but also affect learning and development of the students. It is necessary to study student assessment under the perspective of individual education, to promote the comprehensive harmonious and personalized development of every student.This study explains the basic theories of individual education by systematically combing the relevant research at home and abroad and the beneficial explorations in recent years. The study is to understand the current status of primary and secondary school by questionnaire and interview survey. It found that teachers has improved the awareness of evaluation, but some problem still exist in practice:firs, teachers lack a clear diagnosis of the situation and demand of students,evaluation failed to promote the development of students; second, method and language of evaluation can not focus on difference of students; third, content of evaluation can not pay sufficient attention to the students’ potential; forth, the student body status has not been cared,opportunity for students to self and mutual assessment is limited. Interview of students also reflect problems of evaluation function and standard.Teacher interview the causes of current student assessment including the restriction of traditional education thought and teacher ’s concept of assessment, the restriction of external environment. To promote the strategy,the study also uses case analysis,mainly present the personality appraisal practice of Qingdao S School, and summaries some experience worthy of learning.Based on the situation of current student assessment, related research result and practical experience, the study put forward the countermeasures and suggestions of improving students evaluation:changing ideas, establishing individual education idea;multivariate main body participation and improve the teacher s’ professional quality.
