At present,science and technology develops very quickly,resulting more andmore intense competition among different countries. The competition of science andtechnology is talented person’s competition.Education is the main way to cultivatetalents.Talents are mainly the result of education,thus arising the higher requirementsfor the quality of education in China.The beginning of a new round of curriculumreform in China since2001,had begun efforts to carry out quality of education,withthe "national medium and long-term education reform and development plan(2010-2020)"emphasized that it is urgency to cultivate comprehensive talents for ourcountry.When we carry out quality of education,we must have a assessment systemmatching with it.Student assessment of International Baccalaureate Diploma Programhas to do better and it is appropriate for the philosophy of the new curriculum reformin our country.So That the research of student assessment of InternationalBaccalaureate Diploma Program can help the reform and development of studentassessment in our country.The author of this paper uses literature method,comparison method and casemethod in the process of thesis research.This paper is composed of five chapters.The first chapter is introduction.In thischapter,it states:Why I choose this subject,the implications of study,study mentalityand the frame,research status of International Baccalaureate Diploma Program andHigh school in China, study method.The second chapter is an overview of the International Baccalaureate DiplomaProgramme history and a summary of the DP system.It mainly introduces:the purposeof setting up International Baccalaureate Diploma Program,transverse andlongitudinal development of International Baccalaureate Diploma Program,sixcourses and three core curriculum of International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.The third chapter is the main part of the thesis.This chapter is about how topractice the student assessment from assessment objectives,assessmentprocess,assessment method.Assessment objectives have six parts. Assessment processinclude of paper,exam,internal assessment,score,promulgated result,feedback,whichforms a round evaluation system.Assessment method includes internal assessment andexternal assessment,with the stress on internal evaluation. Internal assessment isthrough the case method to the implementation of the concrete method.Externalassessment is the traditional exam,but it is different from the traditional exam.Thispart study exam of six subjects.At the end of this chapter analyses student assessmentof International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.It contains advantages anddisadvantages of assessment objectives,assessment process,assessment method.The fourth chapter is the focus chapters of this thesis.This chapter studiescurrent situation that the assessment of high school students in our country since thenew curriculum reform.In order to follow the principle of parallelism ofcomparison,this chapter describes student assessment of High school in China from assessment objectives,assessment process,assessment method.The last part of this chapter is the conclusion and implementation advices.Onthe basis of analysis result from above,the chapter puts forward seven suggestionsabout high school student assessment in China.These suggestions include threeaspects about objectives, process and methods of student assessment.In the end,theauthor hope that the study brings about some enlightenments to our studentassessment....
