With the rapid development of economy in our country, the sports industry is developing rapidly, large public sports venues become the important carrier of production development, it is not only simple to provide service for competitive sports, with the development of the national fitness work, also shoulder the important task of carrying out the national fitness work..At present, the large public sports venues are to get rid of the economic difficulties faced by both chose to profit as the main target of operation management mode. The realization of the economic benefits of the short-term development of the public gyms and stadiums have certain practical significance, but as a quasi-public product, public sports venues have special properties, such as publicity and public welfare is not the pursuit of the maximization of economic benefits blindly, how to effectively perform the social responsibility is the primary problem.This research mainly on the theory of public product theory, according to the characteristics of large public sports venues in yunnan province, with large public sports venues in yunnan province as the research object, the performance of social responsibility in the management of operation status were investigated, the conclusions are as follows:yunnan economy is relatively backward, the residents’consumption ability is insufficient, uneven allocation of resources; Lag at the same time, the venue because of lack of money management mode, personnel overall quality is not high, imperfect infrastructure, single function, and many other reasons, the embassy utilization rate is low, making the quasi-public products, the public gyms and stadiums lost its original value.
