Since self-efficacy has been proposed as a very important part of non-intellectual factors, it has greatly aroused the attention of the educational circles. The status of senior high school students’mathematics self-efficacy, Self-efficacy Sense and math academic achievement correlation, families of the students’self-efficacy sense effect and research of these problems will help to guide the teaching of mathematics.This paper first sorted out the related literature of mathematics self-efficacy using the literature analysis method and explored the connotation of mathematics self-efficacy according to the characteristics of high school students, definition of mathematical self-efficacy’ dimensions, lay the foundation for the follow-up study.Secondly, it through the questionnaire and interview survey to understand the current situation of high school students’mathematics self-efficacy. The results of the study show that senior high school students’mathematics self-efficacy sense of status in medium level, in self-monitoring and general mathematics self-efficacy sense of these two dimensions is relatively good performance, and in flexible thinking and overcome the difficulties of self-efficacy in two dimensions in the performance of the more general; self-efficacy sense extremely significant differences exist between the school, gender, and between the grade difference is not obvious; self efficacy sense in general and each dimensions and math academic achievement correlation is extremely significant.Further, use the questionnaire and the interview to understand the relationship between family environment and self-efficacy sense. The results show that the family affects students’ mathematics self-efficacy, students of mathematics self-efficacy sense as a whole, and each dimensions and parental educational level are extremely relevant, but parents and students of Mathematics Self-efficacy Sense of relationship is not obvious, parental care and understanding of help to improve the students’self-efficacy sense.Finally, this paper gives some teaching suggestions from school and family to improve senior high school students’self-efficacy.Overall, this study enriches the theories of mathematics self-efficacy, and it has certain guiding significance for high school teachers to understand the status of students’mathematics self-efficacy and to carry out targeted mathematics teaching.
