A Study On The Present Situation Of Political Beliefs Of Postgraduates In China And The Educational Countermeasures

The belief is dominant in the people’s spiritual world,and it’s people’s belief in the system of specific ideas and obedience.Political belief is a belief system pointing to political ideas, political theory, political position.It strengthens people’s political ideas from the spiritual level, so as to guide the people’s political behavior.Facing the key transition period of socialist construction, to strengthen the political belief education of contemporary young students, especially graduate students has become the important content and the urgent task of China’s socialist construction in the new period. Therefore, we should grasp the current situation of graduate students political belief, and put forward a feasible method of the political belief education of postgraduates. It is not only the requirement of students to establish a correct political belief,but also the key to the ideological and political education in universities, and the focus of state ideology construction.According to the way of "pose a question -analyze the problem-solve the problem",this paper follows the logical relations of "what are postgraduates’ political beliefs"-"what is the current situation"-" what to do in the future". After analyzing the research background and the research status at home and abroad, on the theoretical basis of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the principle of the ideological and political education, it combines the theoretical analysis with the empirical studies to research the current situation and the education of the postgraduates’ political beliefs. First of all, mainly expounds the postgraduate group characteristics, the connotation characteristics and functions of belief and political belief, as well as the theoretical foundation of the political belief generates. Secondly, by using the method of questionnaire survey from the postgraduates’ attitude towards political beliefs, view of Marxism and China’s socialist construction and acceptance of political belief education of three angles, and taking some universities in Nanjing as an example, the questionnaire survey is launched to investigate the status of postgraduates’ political beliefs.Through the analysis of relevant literature review and questionnaire survey results, this paper analyzes the problems of postgraduates’political beliefs and the reasons from multiple angles, which will provide the basis for countermeasures.Finally, relying on the achievements of the above research, combining with the thought characteristics of postgraduate group, four countermeasures are suggested to solve the problems, including strengthening the content construction of postgraduates’ political belief education, strengthening the main land of college’s ideological and political education, broadening the ways of postgraduates’political belief education and build good environment of political belief education.
