China has been always noted as a land of morals and rituals. Diligent and kind-hearted Chinese people have been creating splendid civilization and forming the fundamental basis of traditional culture. Despite the prosperous commodity economy,there exits a lack of development of traditional virtue. Thus, the whole society should envisage this phenomenon and take measures to improve such condition. In this way, will the development of China’s socialist modernization cause and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation be accompolished. History teaching in Junior High School bears the weight of abundant conventional culture of the Chinese nation as well as the responsibility of cultivating students to inherit and develop the traditional virtue. This paper cites the core value of Disciple Gauge as an example, conducts a research into application of Chinese traditional virtue in History teaching in Junior high School in China, and analyses how to excavate the Chinese traditional morals contained in the history curriculum in the course of history teaching. Based on the research, this paper also probes into the significance of infiltration of traditional morals into History teaching in Junior High School and the promotion of History teaching in Junior High School with the aid of the teaching of the Chinese traditional virtue.
