Honghe National Normal school is currently the only secondary normal school in Yunnan province. The school’s preschool education major is the main training base of preschool teachers in Honghe prefecture. The school has provided many teachers for kindergartens in the prefecture, even the entire province, making great contribution to the development of early childhood education. But with the increasing recruitment in preschool education major, the students’ quality becoming declining, there are some problems in teachers’ spoken language skill cultivating of the students. Considering the significance of teachers’ spoken language skill to children’s spoken language, physical and mental development, the author have done some questionnaire to the five-year junior college students of grade 2011 majoring in pre-school education and made some survey on their language applying ability in job training. Combined with the interviews to oral training teachers and research the current situations of the prospective preschool teachers’ spoken language cultivating in Honghe National Normal school, the author explores the problems and reasons in teachers’ oral language training. And she also proposed some pieces of suggestion on the improvement of the prospective preschool teachers’ spoken language training in this thesis.The main contents of this thesis:In the first chapter, the author explains the background of the topic, the relevant literature review, the related concept and the research design of this topic. The research design includes the purpose, significance, contents, objects and methods of this research.The second chapter expounds the contents, requirements and the characteristics of preschool teachers’ spoken language ability.In the third chapter, the author analyzes the result of students’ questionnaire survey, the interview result of the teachers and cases of students’ language applying ability in internship positions. The author analyzes the status quo of prospective preschool teachers’ spoken language skills from three aspects. One is teachers and students’ awareness level of teachers’ spoken language skill cultivating; another one is the courses school offered for teacher’s spoken language cultivating; the third is the condition of the students’ language applying ability of teachers’ oral language in kindergarten.In the fourth chapter, the author finds out the problems of prospective preschool teachers’ spoken language skills cultivating in Honghe Normal School, and analyzes the causes of the problem.In the fifth chapter, the author does some considerations on improving the prospective preschool teachers’ spoken language skills through further clearing the objectives of teachers’ oral language skills, improving teaching methods, diversifying the examine ways and Perfecting the system of education internship training.
