The influence of personality on creativity has drawn extensive attention. Many studies indicate that highly creative people do have personality different from that of common people. To study the public view of important individual factors impacting creativity and personality of highly creative people can prove the reality of conclusion of studies by experts and compensate their deficiency. To take two special public groups of teachers and parents of primary school and middle school students as the objects of study, review their view in this respect is helpful to find out environmental factors that are disadvantageous to creativity development of primary school and middle school students in school education and family education, to provide actual bases for relevant educational reform. Based on above mentioned reasons, the study adopted the method of survey study. A 7-point level appraisal questionnaire was compiled based on pre-survey. Survey of public view of creative personality was carried out in terms of importance of influence of personality on creativity and its typicality in highly creative people. The study selected at random 582 primary school and middle school teachers, educational study people, and students parents as objects, questionnaire survey was carried out with 543 effective questionnaires recovered. The results of descriptive statistics, factor analysis and analysis of variance of survey data are as follows: 1. In general, the surveyed teachers and parents?view on important personality impacting creativity is relatively close to psychological research people view, but affected by traditional view of value, they emphasize on importance of personality factors that confirm to traditional view of value, however they do not pay much attention to influence of independence and initiative of individual on creativeness. 2. Public view and experts view of typical personality of highly creative people are relatively consistent with certain cultural difference. 3.The two groups have relatively consistent view on appraisal and division of important personality impacting creativity and typical personality of highly creative people. 4. Variables such as sex, age (or in which grade is child) and education level of teachers and parents, sort of school in which the teacher works, subject he/she teaches, occupation of parent, economic situation, etc. have notable influence on view of important personality impacting creativity and typical personality of highly creative people. In which the factors such as education level, sort of school in which teacher works, subject he/she teaches, occupation of parent have wider influence.
