On This Stage Charging System Of Higher Education And Cost Sharing

With the development of socialistic market economy mechanism, free higher education in China has become history. More research is being done on the analysis of investment and production in higher education, on the basis of which, the system that students should pay the fee is to be set up. It's imperative to set up a tuition system with Chinese characteristics and have students pay for part of the cost of higher education.This paper, based on economics theory of higher education investment, as well as the analysis of the economic development in China and the development trend of higher education, tries to set up a tuition system with Chinese characteristics. It further investigates into the elements of higher education cost and the economic connotation of self-financing. What's more, it discusses about the general features and principles of the shouldering of the higher education cost, and by the experience of the higher education cost, discusses about the scientific model of it.
