With the approaching of intbrmation society, people begin to inspect the importance of education as an elementary industry from different perspectives, especially paying great attention to the 慽ndustrialization?of higher education which is a non-compulsory phase. This paper will stand on the theme of 慼igher education industrialization? and have discussions on 慽ndustrialism? 慽ndustrialization? 憈heoretical foundation? 憆unning mechanism?of higher education and other correlating problems. This paper dissertates the industrialism of higher education, expounds that higher education is a special industry with foundation, overall importance. precursor, analyze the present situation and problems in China higher education market, and put forward that the industrialization is one of the effective solutions to the reform and development of higher education. Through the analysis on the elements of education industrialization such as education market, higher education cost sharing and compensation theory, individual income in higher education, reimbursement system of students?loan, the author demonstrates the industrialization of China higher education is imperative under the situation from theoretical and practical dimensions. This paper also discuss the features of information society and its great influence on our higher education, and analyze the important function of higher education in a information society. The author expounds the present trends in higher education of the developed countries, then puts forward some management measures in higher education industrialization accordant with the situation of this country, and have discussions on government policies.
