In the strategy of building our country by science and education, vocational education bears the important task of cultivation high-qualified laborers and specialialists. To do this well, vocational education must develop coordinately in quantity, quality, structure and benefit. In the deepening our reform, the development of vocational education is, to a great extent, conducive to the integrative quality of teachers. Since the reform and open-door policy, the training of middle-vocation-edi.jcation teachers has already achieved outstanding achievements. The conditions of teachers is truly concerned with the reformation and development of this sort of education. Our Party and government have been paying great attention to the work of teachers' cultivation and made a special expounding of teachers?conditions in "the Central Community of CCPC and the State Department's decision of deepening educational reforms and pushing forward quality education on all sides? in which are definitely pointed out that the structures of teachers should be optimized, and high quality teachers should be trained to push forward quality education on all sides. The Education Department of our country clearly puts it as one of the aims of our work in the Tenth five-year Plan?that diplomas?structures, structures of specialties and structures of ranks should optimized to raise the total quality of our teachers. In the development of middle-vocation education, the cultivation of teachers should be greatly strengthened and put in the striking position of our whole work and dealt with firmly, solidly and excellently, To raise vocational education and enlarge it, the optimization of teachers should be firstly conducted and thus our teachers can become better. This thesis makes a detailed analysis of the main problems existing in the cultivation of middle-vocation-education teachers, systematically expounds the series of problems concerning the structural optimization of middle-vocation-education teachers, and emphatically expounds the constituents, the basic goals, the principles and ways and the relevant measures of optimizing vocation-education teachers'structures. Some feasible and practicable suggestions have been put forth as regards how to optimizing middle-vocation-education teachers?structures in the 21 th century, which might be instructive to the cultivation of middle-vocation-education teachers.
