Multi-agent Collaborative Learning System Online

With its rapid development, Internet now has more and more influences on our lives. And our nation is advocating higher education, studying for the whole life and sequel education. These requirements can be met by distant network education.But distant network education is centered on the mode of teaching, never makes full use of Internet's distributed flat roof to make teaching turn around the mode of focusing on the students.This paper, aiming at the practice of distant network education, advocates integrating Multi-Agent System in Artificial Intelligence and Internet distant network education to make a Multi-Agent Network Cooperative Teaching System. Through teacher assistant agent, teacher agent and student agent work cooperatively, which not only help teachers to teach but also help students to study. I also suggest adopt SUN Microsystem INC's J2EE to carry out this system. To Use Applets implementing teacher agent and student agent may lessen system maintenance work. In Web server. I use servlets implementing teacher assistant agent. Applets and servlets may connect by RJVfl. Servlets store and get data from database through EJB. It may use EJB's services for public use, for example transaction management, security management etc.I also use Microsoft Agent. Microsoft Agent is the component software of ActiveX. It will appear a cartoon character on screen by using it. The character can speak and act. Microsoft Agent can be control by Javascript in HTML file. Using Microsoft Agent in system may improve students's interesting.
