Elderly Gait Analysis And Evaluation System Initially Established,

Analysis of 127 ordinary elderly people's gait in normal walking based on simple 3-D platform was made to study the variation of the step ability during the aging course from 55 to 85, and to get the distributing of the character of the elderly people's gait. Statistics and analysis of the biomechanics were used to evaluate the gait of the elders. And try to establish the criterion of the different elderly people's gait. It is shown that there are much difference between the male and the female in their gait character. The step ability of the elderly people is weakening along with the aging accretion.
