| The fourteenth World Men's Basketball Championship was over at Polis Indiana in America. The Chinese Team was regarded as the strongest before the competition, The Chinese Team lost 7 games, at last it got the 12th place .The Chinese Team was defeated in the Championship, the reasons were various, the gap was large. The centers of China Men's Team Yao ming and Bater showed their special characters, they could compete with other's centers. But, the key guard was the weak point of the Chinese Team. The whole team's tactics and skills couldn't be fully show because of these reasons.. The key guard is an organizer and commander of a team; an assistant of the coach, an axle center of the tactic changes and attack rhythm. The key guard is the soul of a team. Even though a team has a strong center forward, it can't get ideal scores without good key guard.Based on the gap between China Men's basketball key guard and the excellent Men's basketball key guard in the world, the dissertation makes some indexes about attack ability to compare and research, in order to get the quantitative and qualitative results. Therefore, it can provides the beneficial reference to China Men's basketball team training and games.The research way that the dissertation applies includes document, professor visiting, investigation, Delphi, mathematical statistics, etc.The research results are as follows:(1) The China Men's basketball key guard gets less scores, and the way to get points is single.. The key guard only notes thatthe organization of the whole team, ignores the personal attack. (2) The China Men's basketball key guard is impotent to control basketbalk arrange the basketball.. The pass tactic is poor, the pass way is single, the pass speed is slower. The pass is uncovert.
