Learner-centered learning environment needs support system. Scaffolding is a generalsystemic support mode for learning environment. Design scaffolding in learningenvironment would support learners more effectively.Scaffolding origins from Vygotsky learning theory. Scaffolding is a temporarystructure that provides help at specific points in the learning process. With this helplearners could pass the zone of proximal development from real level of developmentto potential level of development. This help would fade according to the developmentof learners' cognitive ability.Scaffolding supported learning environment design becomes the focus of learningenvironment design. How to design scaffolding supported learning environmentbecomes a problem elementary teachers desire to resolve. According to learningtheory and cognitive psychology, this study brings forward a design model ofscaffolding supported learning environment.Combined the above model and needs of new curriculum reform, I studied anddesigned the Scaffolding Model Supported Learning Environment Design System.This study analyzed the strategy of system design; described main modes design ofthis system; used technologies to develop the system and do the research of using ofsystem.I hope this study would do some help to the scaffolded learning and scaffoldingsupported learning environment design in elementary education.
