| This paper deals with the application of the dialogue in reading in struction. It consists of three parts: theory ,application and reflection . In the first part the author tries to define the grounds of some theory about application of dialogue theory in reading instruction and expound the meaning of the dialogue and its five features and six classifications in order to answer the question "What is the dialogue in reading instruction?" . In this part the author also tries to give readers five principles and eight strategies to answer the question "How to apply dialogue to reading in struction ?". The second part offers some perceptual experience of overall application of the dialogue in reading instruction and emphasizes the application of the dialogue theory in three different kinds of reading materials selected from the textbooks and gives some concrete microprobe . In this part the author also gives readers some ideas of the application of the dialogue in schoolbased curriculum , hoping to improve it. The last part supplies some reflection of the application of the theory in reading. Here the author hopes to look into the traditional approach of teaching material explanation and to reform the instruction of reading from such aspects as the aims of the teaching, ethics , approaches and links of teaching , expecting to use the theory of dialogue more effectively in the application of the new textbooks . |
