At the outset of new century, our country has initiated a grand project in the field ofeducation------ curriculum reform in elementary education. With the comprehensiveimplementation of this reform and the advent of the age of dialogue, the dialogue instruction as a new teaching form different from the traditional instruction has come into people's view and has become a focus of concern and research dramatically. The present dissertation is just one of the fruits produced in the context.The dissertation falls into six parts:Introduction discusses how and why the title is pinned down. It presents the current situation of relevant studies at home and abroad and the theoretical and practical values of this study. Meanwhile it puts the general thoughts in a sensible and logical way.Chapter One introduces the "dialogue" character of instruction. After the interpretation of the "dialogue" in the education teaching, it points out that dialogue is one the important means in man's language communication, is the blending of the two parties' scope based on the understanding, is an attitude, a relationship, a consciousness and a philosophical outlook. According to this, the main manifestations and causes of cloaking the instruction of dialogue character are described and analyzed; the ways to foreground the dialogue character of instruction are tentatively put forward and the prospect of this kind of instruction is visioned.Chapter Two deals with the essence of dialogue instruction which is approached from the following three aspects.
