This article introduced the concept of teacher-expectancy into the study of teacher-expectancy effect of middle school students. Using junior high school students in Grade Two, we examined the relationships among three factors: teacher-expectancy perception, feeling of self-worth and achievement goals. Then, we intervened the teacher-expectancy skill and investigated how the training of teacher-expectancy skill influence the students' feeling of self-worth and achievement goals. The results showed that,1.There was significant relationship among teacher-expectanct perception, feeling of self-worth and achievement goals of the students of Grade Eight.2.Teacher-expectanct perception and feeling of self-worth of the students of Grade Eight had significant predictive role on achievement goals.3.Feeling of self-worth was a mediational role between teacher-expectant perception of the students of Grade Eight and achievement goals.4.The training of teacher-expectancy skill could improve the level of the teacher-expectancy, the overall feeling of self-worth, individual-oriented general feeling of self-worth and special feeling of self-worth in group of high scores. The training of teacher-expectancy skill could improve the level of social oriented general feeling of self-worth in best classes.5.The training of teacher-expectancy skill could improve the level of teacher-expectant perception, cooperative goal and self-avodiance goal in group of high scores. It could also improve the level of social-intimate goal, self-approach goal and self-avoidance goal in best classes.
