Development of contemporary society relies on advance of science and technology increasingly. The Development of science and technology relies on talented persons. Training of talented persons is mainly dependent on education that is mainly dependent on professional development of teachers. So, many countries think that teacher education is very important and are making a great effort to improve professional quality of teachers. But, the training effect is complained of. In other words, teacher education has not made professional quality of teachers effectively improved. One of the main reasons is that teacher education has not been seen as whole. Integration of teacher education is a key to improve teacher education. So, particularly in china, it is very necessary to research such the questions about integration of teacher education as its meaning, basis and carrying out.To write this thesis is directed by the following three aspects. Fist, development is more concerned than inheritance. This thesis has inherited many right things about the theory and practice of teacher education, but its emphasis is development of new ideas. Development of this thesis lies in the following five aspects, (l)the method researching the meaning of integration of teacher education ;(2) the law of teacher education demands integration of teacher education ; (3) the possibility of integration of teacher education ; (4) the methods carrying out integration of teacher education ; (5) the methods carrying out teacher university-based integration of teacher education . Second, the possibility in practice of the methods of carrying out it is more concerned thanresearch of theory about it. Third, international field of vision is concerned. The theory and practice of integration of teacher education in developed countries such as the U. S. and Britain has better developed, and teacher education has many common laws, so, this thesis has been guided by international field of vision in order to ensure the research advanced and give teacher education of china a right direction.This thesis studies mainly the following four aspects. Fist, the meaning of integration of teacher education; second, the basis of integration of teacher education , including its necessity and possibility; third, the carrying out integration of teacher education , including teacher university-based integration of teach education model, school-based in-service education model and combination of teacher university and school model; fourth, the suggestion in policy of integration of teacher education . I hope that this thesis is helpful to theory and practice of integration ofteacher education .
