Contemporary College Students' Moral Capacity And Its Culture

The connotations, structures and characteristics of moral ability are elaborated in the thesis. Thereafter, The moral ability situation of modern university students and causes for the lack of moral ability are analyzed. The necessity and importance of fostering moral ability of modern university students are analyzed. It is emphasized that strengthening the cultivation of moral ability is the internal demand of higher moral education, the objective demand of the times and the inevitable tendency of modern moral education.Lastly, methods of cultivating university students are presented. In order to developing moral ability of university students, the system of higher education should be innovated. It includes: renewing the concept of moral education, for example, constructing moral education concept which is subjective, developing and true to life. Innovating the methods of moral education, such as methods of combining theory education and practice, combining students' conscious choice and teacher's guiding, combining moral teaching and moral learning by oneself.
