Traditional Wushu is through baptism of several histories of thousand years old, having the abundant culture intension, and creating its own brilliant history too. At cold weapon era, it is an effective means for individual defence or the national struggle, by reading the Kungfu novels and seeing acrobatic fighting movie & TV today, we can find out: though its military position drops to some extent today, it is not definitely to survive because of "skill hit". As an effective way for people to improve their life quality, it has already become a kind of life style and the cultural spirit of our Chinese people.Traditional Wushu has inestimable value, but in the modern society, it is laid aside in a corner that nobody shows any interest in 1980s, although people once had a heavy excavate, arrangement activity, but then lay aside and neglect it after excavating it. Nobody puts it in order and study so far. This kind of method is regarded as the gods, making traditional Wushu in dying edge.For existence of traditional Wushu and sustainable development, we should carry on and carry forward the traditional culture of the nationality. This text analyse traditional Wushu ancient way and characteristics to survive, comparing the values between the traditional Wushu and sports Wushu. In addition to modern aesthetic culture disadvantages, we should also respect and explain its advantages and values of the development of Wushu and sports Wushu, etc. Thus we can put forward the question of the modern existent way of traditional Wushu.The research shows: The ancient way to survive for the traditional Wushu can have people draw lessons from it; Traditional Wushu have more value for development than sports Wushu in skill hit, health, aesthetics, economy etc; from the disadvantages of modern aesthetics of mankind, the negative effects for the athletics sports among our society, or the transition of people's sports values,it callsfor the returns of traditional Wushu and traditional culture . In addition, traditional Wushu has extensive mass foundation, wide adaptability .It is also the effective carrier of the quality-oriented education too, so it is our task of top priority to study the modern way to survive in traditional Wushu.This article thinks that the modern existent way of traditional Wushu should go on from the following aspects:The first one: Strengthen the theoretical research of traditional Wushu. The theory guides the development of technology, technology offers the basis for theory, the two are just like two rounds of the car, both wings of the bird. Neither can be cut off. Without progress of scientific research of theory, the development of technology can not be remote.The second one: Strengthen the organizational buildings of Wushu association organizations, set up and amplify traditional Wushu management system. The military association organization and traditional Wushu management system from all walks of life have certain problems now. We must analyze that deeply, pinpointing and solving them carefully. So we can improve the conditions for the external environment of traditional Wushu's development, making traditional Wushu develop smoothly.The third: Standardize the construction of school of Wushu building. In recent years big achievements have taken place in traditional Wushu, but there are still many problems for us to solve urgently. Such as: The coach does not have high level in the school of Wushu building, the quality for the student is required low. They only pay attention to their own economic benefits. Some schools of building Wushu even hang traditional brands of Wushu but to teach sports Wushu.The fourth: Set up and amplify the contest system of traditional Wushu, holding the sports match. The contest is a lever of sports activity development.
