Students will never go into the classroom with a free brain. In their daily life & their former studies, they have formed a great amount of personal experience, among which, there are some experience that can be considered as the growing points & fitted points of new knowledge. However, there is also much understanding, which is opposite to the scientific theory. All of these are the misconception, or alternative conception in students' mind. According to the research, children are sure about that daily conception. It seems that they have explored several different stores, some of which are used to contain their own experience, while others are, used to contain the knowledge in their books. While they are having a test, they may answer the questions referring to their books, but in reality, he may still believe in his former opinions.The thesis analyses the situations of the recent scientific education. It puts forward the importance of paying attention to the misconception in students' mind, and expounds the research of the misconception home & abroad. It also analyses the feature of the misconception, how to change the conception and the procedure, requirement, factors of the change.This thesis takes the basic conception of the solution as a theme. It expounds deeply the misconception of some solution which exists commonly in students' mind. These are explained detailed by designing investigating paper and interviewing outline. Besides, it summarizes some contents of certain misconception, and analyses the origin of these misconception, the reasons of its forming, which are based on the four basic contents—solution, solute, solvent & the mass percent of solute.The thesis indicates that workers on chemical education should pay more attention to the misconception in students' mind, and should discover it in time. In addition, they should use some strategies to change the conception to improve the teaching of scientific conception. By these means, the level of scientific teaching can be improved in our country, and the scientific literacy of the people can be improved in the end.
