| Along with the development of society, the research concerning personality and education is valued more and more by people. Many nation's education centers have shifted from original "knowledge education", "intelligence development" to "personality education", but from every angle, our country's teenager personality development and personality education can't still adapt to the demands of the ages.This essay deals with the concept, characteristics, value , target mission and contents of personality education by studying its history and it also probes its method, principle so that teenager educators can learn a lot to correctly recognize and carry out the study of personality education.This essay is divided into two parts. The foreword explains why teenagers' personality education should be studied. The text part contains three aspects. The first aspect analyzes personality and its related concepts like personality, character and moral qualities, furthermore, it also gives an analysis of personality characteristics of the teenagers' and those who break the law.
