The thesis analyzes a principal's behaviors by borrowing some theories in sociology, culture and psychology, presents truly her jobs, bewilderment, difficulties and kinds of subconscious thoughts and applies field-research. The effort not only gives a new view to the study of schoolmasters, but provides reference for comprehending status quo of them and conducting training in the future.Five parts consist of the whole text. In the beginning, the author accounts for the reasons and purposes of selecting the title, explains the basic concept, reviews the traveling of field-research and puts forward some original ideas. In the following, the panorama of the school is presented, which include the history, actuality of school, community and growing experience of the principal. In the third part, varies characteristics and roles are generalized from some of her jobs in a week. In the fourth part, from chapter 3 to chapter 7, some typical cases are exampled according to different people to whom she contacted and the schoolmaster's action logic reappeared by using other methods, such as literature, investigation and interview. In the end, the author express own opinion to educational administration based on peculiarity of the principal's action logic.In a word, the author draws several conclusions that are the principal's action logic with many transformations affected by a number of factors and determined finally by the main one; they have own special occasion and changed in terms of different conditions; The conflict and adjustment between benefit distribution and ethics are the major contradiction, while balance and harmony are the aspects with Chinese characteristic.
