Folk Beliefs And Village Life Study

Folk belief has been the traditional field all the time in the folklore study, and it's the focus problem that anthropology is being studied at the same time. But educational circles organize to folk belief organization, especially incense societal organization concentrating on incense societies of Mount Tai study for a long time, there have been already a lot of achievements in this aspect. But still relatively weak to the case research which the incense societal organization in the village. This paper takes incense societal organization in JingTang village as an example. This Research is mainly on its history and realistic activity state, and the interdynamic between incense societal organization and the villagers' daily life.This paper consists of five chapters.Chapter one is introduction. It's about the meaning of the selected title in academic study, history and current situation, research methods, research range and materials system used of this paper. What this text studies is organized by the incense societal organization of a village; actually the records about a village of China is few, as far as incense societal organization be concerned is non. So this paper uses the method of the field work to get the materials mainly, makes use of villagers' oral account history and the inscription on a tablet and folk document to reduce history of it, and makes every effort to represent intact research results.Chapter two explained the village that this paper studies —Social culture overview of the JingTang village .Including such aspects as physical geography, social economy and history and culture etc., thus announced the environment existing in the incense societal organization of it.Chapter three uses field work materials description to overview the folk belief of JingTang village and folk belief organization. Then carry on overall description to well incense societies' history and the present activity state of it. Choose jade emperor society and four season society as cases, carrying on scientific description to JingTang village extant incense societal activity ceremony and course of it.Chapter four mainly describes the activity of the incense societal organization in the daily life in the village. The activity that the incense societal organization involves all aspects of the daily life in the village, for instance: Hold a memorial ceremony forway, put the beams in place , buy longevity, ask soul, turn on and lock the son, temple fair. These activities are closely related to women's life at leisure. There are certain ceremonies in all of these activities, and then carry on the discussion to the folk ceremony.Chapter five is extra conclusion. It explains the definition of folk belief and folk belief organization that used in the paper originally and compares the incense societal organization with social organization in the strict sociology meaning, thus demonstrates the characteristics of folk belief organization.The appendix part of this paper has shown with some contents that every chapter is correlated with in the paper in the form of materials, including according to inscription on a tablet and two parts of Sutras singing in incense societal activity on the phoenix mountain where the field work materials are put in order.
