| This paper has done a research by comprehensively comparing the similarities and differences between Chinese and American moral education, and the writer has reached a conclusion as follows: both China and America think highly of moral education although they have different social systems, and both of them take the course education as the basic approach of moral education in colleges; both of the tv/o countries enhance the effect of moral education through different activities; and both of the countries pay more attention to the teachers' demonstration and the composition of forces. But the differences between the education systems lie in the courses, methodologies, extra curriculum activities and comprehensive guidance to the students. Through the comparison, this article draws a conclusion that politics and class should be specified in moral education, the arrangement and the continuance of the courses should be paid attention to, the methodology of engrafting and infiltration should be executed in teaching, edification and practice should be included in the content of the courses, and in practice, the majority of the students should take part in the activities, in the mean time, the consciousness should be deepened. In this way, the current Chinese educational practice and innovation in colleges can be improved for the purpose of exerting more important role of morality education. |
