Vocational Teachers Of Mental Health And Countermeasures

Psychological health is the foundation of people's work, study and lives. And it plays an important role in a person's all-round development. And also, a teacher's psychological health is not only the reflect of his psychological quality but also the basic guarantee of his teaching ability. As the education for all-round development goes deeper, the appealing for teachers to have healthy psychological quality is stronger and stronger. Only when a teacher has healthy psychology can he foster high-quality talents. So at this point, teachers' psychological health decides the success of current education.Based on "SCL-90 Psychology Self-evaluation", the paper conducts a survey on 127 staff of Wuhan Police Professional College (WPPC for short) and it shows that some teachers have serious psychological problems, which are resulted from hostilily, stubborn and worry.According to the above phenomenon, the paper discusses and analyses the factors of it and proposes some methods from three parts. The first part is society, which should strengthen the propaganda, forming the public opinion of emphasizing education and respecting teachers and eliminating the stale ones that ignore it. The second part is school. Scientific management is imperative under the situation to offer teachers friendly working conditions. And it should create favourable conditions for teachers' development and realization of their value through inspiration. What's more, schools should be concerned with their staff and set up psychological consulting officials and health care system. The third part are teachers themselves. Teachers should have the sense of psychological health, try to gain knowledge of it and have the ability of self-managing, and self debugging by learning and getting training in this field. Only in these ways can psychological quality be improved .
