Philosophy of Education has a very twisted way in China. From the beginning of 20th to 1949 in which Philosophy of Education was cancelled in university, to 1979 in which Philosophy of Education as a subject was reset up, every step was very hard. This article, contains three parts in which describe the developing process of Philosophy of Education in China.The first part is about the developing process of Philosophy of Education in China, mainly tells the conditions of contemporary society in China, and the rehabilitation process of Philosophy of Education and the development of western world' s theory.The second part is about the academic achievements of Philosophy of Education in China, which includes the Philosophy of Education's accomplishments, academic discussion in Philosophy of Education, the institutionalization of Philosophy of Education and the tendency of Philosophy of Education.The third part is the rethought of contemporary Philosophy of Education in China. Because of all kinds of problems, I rethink actively about Philosophy of Education. Includes the prominence of Philosophy of Education in China, the localization of Philosophy of Education, the front view of Philosophy of Education development, and comparative research of Philosophy of Education between China and western world, and give my advice on it as guidelines.This article, on the basis of a lot of materials, study the developing process of Philosophy of Education in China, to draw a very beautiful picture about Philosophy of Education in China and hope to push Philosophy of Education forward to a better way.
